My name is Brian Luchsinger.

Intro

About Me

I explore themes such as the philosophy of science and technology, media theory, and futurism. These subjects are defining the fulcrum of the human condition at this moment in history. I’m driven to distill and disseminate the ideas I encounter that might offer us a glimpse into the machinations of the 21st century.

“Digital natives”, as my generation is often called, are struggling to understand what it means to be human in an information-saturated, hyper-connected, and technological society. I hope to contribute an orienting voice to our navigationally-impaired zeitgeist.

I am finding ways that technology can be harnessed to improve the human experience and usher in a brighter future. Action, optimism, and openness are the greatest tools we possess to accomplish that goal. We occupy a unique place in human history, it’s time to grapple with the implications.
